If you’ve seen Hairspray, you probably know the song, “Good Morning, Baltimore!” Indeed, it is always a good day here knowing that there are several pizza places where you can easily get comfort food. But of course, not all pizza places are created equal. Some have greasy food and mediocre customer service, which are our pet peeves. As for their pizza, these are all thin crust where you can choose from different toppings. Our favorites are Fra Diavlo, Great White, and of course, the Matthew’s Frozen Pizza.
If you want to have lighter meals, they have the best Antipasto Salad. We suggest that you share it with a friend because the serving is good for two. The prices here are reasonable and the staff is always courteous.

Seafood lovers will also enjoy the platters that are served with mashed potatoes or fries and coleslaw.
For those who crave salads, our best picks are Fresh Mozzarella & Tomato with Balsamic Viniagrette or their Turkey Breast Garden. And for the pizza, choose Meat Lover’s, Cheese Steak Pizza, and the Buffalo Chicken.

But you can also try their White Za and Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Or if you want, you can create your own and go all out with the toppings.
We understand that some people are not pizza lovers (well, we don’t). So if that’s the case, there are burgers from Harbor East Pizzeria. Between their ½ lb hamburger and turkey burger, we would choose the latter. It has a unique taste that we can never find anywhere. Veggie burger is also available too.

Angeli’s
‘Ain’t Nothing a Pizza Can’t Fix.’ That’s what Angeli’s says and who are we to say no. We are guilty of ordering pizza every time we need to spend extra hours in the office. In fact, we couldn’t count how many boxes of pizzas we threw over the last month.
You can always order pizza by the slice and add toppings if you wish to. For those who want to have appetizers first, their Eggplant Angeli and Stolen Meatballs are too perfect! Get their New York-style pizza which is on point, and you should pair it with their house-marinated wings. Our list of favorites in this pizza place is just too long, we can even create another article just for that.

You should order their French Onion, The Fennel Countdown, and Spicy Blueberry & Brie. The Beet & Baby Kale salad is also phenomenal. Honestly, one serving isn’t enough. As for the desserts, we had Matcha Orange Curd Cannoli with dark chocolate shavings and a decent amount of roasted pistachios. We’re pretty sure you’d come back for more. We always recommend it to our friends and it did not disappoint.

They also cater to huge events and you can reach out to them directly for special orders.

Get to have a fresh gourmet pizza in Baltimore from Zella’s Pizzeria. But before that, try out some of their best starters. We had the Feta Spinach Triangles, Herbed Bread Stix, and Eggplant Dip. We kid you not, these appetizers made us more excited for our pizza. You must also try their wings which are baked using olive oil and herbs.
Zella’s also has a good selection of pizzas and what we love the most are the St. Magnus’ Meat Classic, Sicilian, Spicy Chicken, and of course, their Special.
