But of course, the town has so much to offer like the most mouthwatering pizza which you can pair with their local wines. In this article, we will share with you the Best Pizza in Portland 2020 list. You should visit a couple of pizza places here once you are done with your Willamette Valley tour.
Sizzle Pie Downtown
Sizzle Pie Downtown offers a sizzling hot menu for everyone to enjoy. This deserves one of the top spots on our list.
They are open seven days a week, so you can satisfy your cravings whenever you wanted to. You can also order from their Daily Slice Specials. We personally love their New Maps Out of Hell during Wednesdays and White Walker on Sundays.
As for the meat pizza, the Pig Destroyer should destroy your hunger! The Rad Wings of Destiny is good too, but not as good as Napalm Breath with crushed garlic, pepperoni, red onions, and jalapenos. They also have vegan pizzas, if you are on a special diet.
Don’t forget to order the cinnamon knots with their homemade icing and organic chocolate sauce. This place will definitely last for ages.

Baby Doll Pizza
Baby Doll Pizza offers authentic New York Style pizza. So if you are specifically looking for that, this is the place to go.
They use the best toppings and locally-sourced ingredients, making every bite heavenly. Take note that all their pies are made with organic house-made tomato sauce. You can also make your own if you are craving something specific.
For their Special Pies, we recommend choosing #4, #5, and #8. Their Margherita is good too, but we’ve tasted better so we won’t push you to order that. Sandwiches are available as well. And if you want to have a beer to pair with your meal, they offer those too. It’s the perfect spot if you just want to relax after a long day.

Apizza Scholls
We’ve included Apizza Scholls in our Best Pizza in Portland 2020 list for a number of reasons. Apart from the good food, they also have an arcade room. Imagine playing old-school games while having a slice of perfectly made pizza on the other hand. Looks like a movie, right?
You can begin with their Ceasar Salad, which for us, is just too perfect! Their Amatriciana, Apizza Amore, Bacon Bianca, Diablo Blanco, Surf & Turf, and The Moxie are our best bets. As for the dessert, the It Ice Cream Sandwich is probably any child’s dream. You cannot go wrong with Apizza Scholls.

Ken’s Artisan Pizza
What we love about Ken’s Artisan is that their pies are a fusion of Italian and American style pizzas. You are getting the best of both worlds if you go to this place. We can’t get enough of their Fennel Sausage with Calabrian Chiles, Soppressata, White Pie, and Brooklyn.
It’s really a cozy place where you can just relax, spend time with families and friends, or just unwind on your own. Their service is commendable as well. If you are not sure what to order, just ask their staff and they would gladly help you.
They also have a wide selection of wine. It makes a perfect pizza place if you want to have a romantic date but yet despises too fancy places.

Oven and Shaker
This pizza place is inspired by trips to Italy which unite Neapolitan pizza and Italian street food. They only use the freshest ingredients, and their dough is made in-house by using a traditional technique.
For starters, you can choose either the Nostrana, Arugula, and Kale. They have a good number of pizza options to choose from but we highly recommend Spicy Salami, Goat Cheese, The Pearl, and Marinara. Extra pizza toppings are also available, and you can get a gluten-free crust.
If you have friends visiting Portland, Oven and Shaker is a must-try. It will never disappoint and we bet you will be coming back for more.

Escape from New York
They claim that their pizza is Portland’s finest, and we couldn’t agree more. They have a featured slice every day, so there is always something to look forward to. If you want an appetizer, try out their Ceasar Salad where you can taste their house-made dressing and croutons.
You can choose from multiple toppings including pepperoni, mushrooms, Canadian bacon, sausage, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, olives, and pineapples. They cook their sauce and let it simmer for several minutes. That’s why every bite is extremely tasty and on point. Beers and ciders are available too and that could complete your meal. We took our friends here and we really had a great time. I’m sure you will experience the same.

Life of Pie Pizza
Have you watched the Life of Pi? If yes, then you’d know that the plot is out of this world. Well, we can say the same for the Life of Pie Pizza. We absolutely love their Kale and Arugula with Parmesan and Garlic Cheese Bread with Marinara. These are the best ones to start your heavy meal.
As for the pizza, go with Margherita with Mozzarella, Marinara, Fresh Basil. You might also want to try the Bacon, Goat Cheese, Leeks, Caramelized Onions, Evoo Base. If you want more variety to your meal, then order their famous spaghetti.

Pizza Jerk
The next one in our Best Pizza in Portland 2020 list is Pizza Jerk. But before you skip this, let us remind you that their menu and service is far from being a ‘jerk’. In fact, we consider their foods and service extraordinary.
We can’t forget the taste of It’s Always Sunny in Cully. It’s just amazing, you will literally eat one slice after another. The Meatzza, Clam Jam, and Lovely Linda are good choices as well. If you can’t choose right away, then just pick the Weekly Special.
There are also options for vegans, which makes this place even more fantastic.

Pizzeria Otto
The Pizzeria Otto is your family-friendly neighborhood joint. They are passionate to create pizza and that is quite obvious in every bite. But of course, they offer more than just pies. You should try out their Alli di Pollo or Chicken Wings. Their Local Berry Salad and Chop Salad have exceeded our expectations as well. We’re sure it will meet your standards too.
Now, let’s talk about the pizza. The Salami & Honey, Wild Mushroom, Supremo, and Sausage & Mushroom will keep you satisfied. And if you have children, they have Kids Pizza available for them as well.

Tastebud
You better include Tastebud if you plan to do a tour of the Best Pizza in Portland 2020. The only downside is that you have to wait for several minutes because there really is a long queue. But that too means that the food is extremely great, right?
Most people rave about their Cherry Tomato Pizza, Bacon & Apricot Pizza, and their Kale Pesto Pizza. But we personally love the Sausage & New Potato which we can order every single day. That’s how amazing it is.
They have a decent price point, so it’s perfect if you want to treat yourself for some good food.

Scottie’s Pizza Parlor
If you want simple yet tasty pizza, we recommend Scottie’s Pizza Parlor. We learned this place from a colleague and we gave it a shot. And boy we’re glad we did. They do have one of the best pizzas in Portland.
Their Plain pizza is surprisingly extraordinary. The Bianca and DeFino are some of our personal recommendations. If you want additional pizza toppings, these are around $2 to $4 which aren’t bad in our opinion. They also have a to-die-for chocolate cookie made by a local small bakery. Get some and order more for take-out!

Ranch PDX Woodlawn
Ranch PDX Woodlawn has been serving square pizzas since 2017. They are considered one of the newcomers but they have already proved their worth to be in this Best Pizza in Portland 2020 list. We love their Cheese, Veggie, The #4, and Hawaiian pizza. We also tried the House Salad and it did not disappoint.
Their price point is good enough, and you don’t have to shell out a lot of cash if you want to have good food for your family or your friends. They also have their lunch combo which includes a small pizza, salad, and soft drinks. You can get this for only $10.
