It’s also a good practice to evaluate your experience every time you visit a wine bar. This is so you can provide your own recommendations to your families and friends. But what are the things you have to consider? We are giving you the list so that when you visit our recommended wine bars, you know how you can objectively gauge it.

Ambiance
Take a look at the lighting. It should be bright enough to see the real color of the wine. But not too powerful that it becomes abrasive to look at. How about the music? It should be loud enough to enjoy but not to the extent where you can’t even make a decent conversation.
Wine Selection
Ideally, the wine list should be diverse. It should contain wines from different regions and wines that are locally-sourced. Yet again, there are wine bars that offer special beverages. So you have to also manage your expectations.
Glassware
Quality glassware can bring the true taste of the wine. Generally, the glass should be thin so you can taste the wine and not the glass.
- For red wine, fuller and rounder wine glass works best.
- White wine is perfect for U-shaped glasses. This is also perfect for Rosés.
- Rosés will work best with flared rims and shorter glasses.
- Prosecco is best with tall and narrow glasses.
Staff
Obviously, the staff must be hospitable, passionate, and knowledgeable. They must know how to take care of their customers and be able to answer questions confidently.
Price
Don’t just look at the numbers itself. You have to understand if the wine selection, food, and the entire service justify the price. We are not looking for the cheapest offers, but rather a wine bar that offers exemplary products and experience with the right rate.
